I’ve collated for you a list of the best 50% liveaboard deals you’ll find online. But for you to avoid disappointment, you’ll need to grab the deal you want fast and book your liveaboard trip quickly, before someone gets there before you.
My experiences shows that 50% liveaboard deals don’t hang around for long, because 50% off is a huge saving. So, because of this you will need to be quick to get one of these very cheap last minute deals for your liveaboard of choice.

BOGOF liveaboard diving
Of course, this will mean you can efectively buy two liveaboard trips for the price of one! OR effectively get a LIVEABOARD BOGOF DEAL – Buy one and get one FREE. This will work best if you are two divers or a couple buying two cabins on the same liveaboard!
Also, if you’ve not dived on a liveaboard before, meaning this would be your first liveaboard trip, you can save money at the same time. A slightly cheaper way of dipping your toe in the water…no pun intended.

”Unique and Unforgettable!! The whole trip was well organised from the initial meeting at San Jose airport to the drop off at the end. Lorenzo (Mexican) is the main guide, and a true gentleman. He is as caring as your own father! Full of enthusiasm for each dive site and seems to have the manta’s and dolphins on speed dial!
We also saw schools of hammerheads and my first tiger shark in 18 years of diving. The other guide was a young Japanese lad called, Rui. Again, he was full of life and knew the dive sites very well, and couldn’t wait to get back in the water for the next dive. This is the enthusiasm that you want on a dive trip. I have been on the odd boat where the guides are tired and can’t be bothered to dive. I don’t mind having a small cabin that doesn’t have the latest flat screen TV, or missing out on warm fluffy towels on the dive deck.
The guides and the crew make ALL the difference on these trips. Both of these guides help make the trip very special with the wildlife encounters which we all had. The whole crew are a credit and know exactly what they are doing. The food was the best that I have ever had on 20+ liveaboards inc The Odyssey in Truk lagoon. The Valentina was a much better trip.
The cabins are quite old, but the boat is clean, hygienic and run so well. Yes there’s quite a bit of sailing to get there, but all the great dive sites around the world entail the same. If they were too easy to get to, they would be over dived and ruined. I can’t wait to book again to try and see the humpback whales on the next trip!” Recommended for: 1) Dolphins, mantas and sharks that are tame and used to seeing divers. These are wild and yet they hang around and play in your bubbles! 2)The guides are fantastic.Really keen, but safe and good fun. 3)All the crew were great – attentive but not over the top.
”Amazing experience. We were incredibly impressed by the setup on this liveaboard. The dive boat is spacious and supports 20 people comfortably. We were part of a dive group of 5 and the smallest on our boat was 4 and most was 6. They have 11.5L, 13.5L tanks (free) and 15L for those who need it at a premium. The gear provided was well maintained. Our standard room was spacious and clean with a good en suite. The communal areas of the boat are also spacious and there was coffee and snacks available at all times. Food was great and they even regularly caught fresh fish off the edge of the boat which was eaten the same day for dinner. This was my first, however, my colleagues said how this would spoil future liveaboards. I definitely recommend this option. For transparency, we got in early and paid around $2100 and found it to be good value for money.” Recommended for: Mantas, Whalesharks and spacious rooms.
”Out of this world! Crew, boat, food, diving, everything of the absolute highest standard!!! Making friends with whole crew (Tom really takes personal pride in his boat, his crew and the experience of his customers). The selection of dive sites, all amazing and the guides ability to spot and ensure the whole group saw everything was the best I have experienced in almost a dozen liveaboard trips! The food, accommodation and equipment all top standard and maintenance and cleaning and help was above and beyond!!!” Recommended for: Selection of dive sites, quality of service, standard or boat and diving equipment.
”What an adventure! The trip was fantastic! The crew were so friendly, the diving was unbelievable and the boat was stunning. Only a couple of downsides – we were given a bunk room instead of a double bed which was a bit disappointing (but of course easy to remedy on future trips) and the current was quite strong on some dives and we were often instructed to swim against it, which is different to my previous dive experience and wasn’t all that pleasant! Despite that last bit I would absolutely do this trip again, just something to be aware of! A bit of fitness recommended to keep up.” Recommended for: Melissa’s Reef dive – it was an aquarium under there. Manta Sandy dive – so many mantas! Putting up the sails on the last day and cruising through the sunset, it was stunning.
”Look no further! This was one of the best diving experiences i’ve had to date. Apart from the lucky visit by a 5m Manta Ray. Everything about this trip was perfect. I had planned to lose a bit of weight, However the food laid on was too good not to have seconds :). Super friendly crew and a very chilled and relaxed atmosphere all over the very spacious boat.
