Awesome crew that enabled a fabulous dive tripGreat people who really look after the divers and are flexible to support their needs whether you want one to one support, to dive for longer than the standard 60 minutes, to explore with your buddy etc. Divers are organised into very small groups with dive masters who are excellent and will go at a pace that suits you which makes for a great experience. Other crew are similarly very helpful, looking after your dive gear, cooking meals to order if you weren’t keen on the menu etc.

The price point of this boat is quite a bit lower than some others that appeared to provide a more luxurious service…in my view it wouldn’t be worth the extra money, we saw some of these ’expensive boats’ and in future will completely avoid them as all we saw was very large dive groups that were extremely disruptive under water. Other divers on the same trip agreed with us, some were returning to the Ondina for the second or third time due to the more personalised service. However, Ondina team…..you need to fix the leaks….getting drenched in bed in the middle of the night when it rained is not what divers pay a lot of money for….please do a bit of maintenance as this is letting you down.” Recommended for: Dive Masters, Raja Ampat underwater experience, Flexibility to allow divers a personalised experience.

Review: SMY Ondina; Book: SMY Ondina 8.9 Fabulous from £235; $296; €273

Very special experience and very fortunate to have only 7 guest in total. Whale sharks, WW2 Zero airplane, over friendly squid on night dive, bats flying at end of dive near cave.” Recommended for: Whale sharks, boat and wreck diving.

Komodo adventure on Damai II. The Komodo National Park was absolutely stunning. The dive sites were fantastic, so much biodiversity. The crew on Damai II were amazing! Truly felt looked after and safe in their hands! Would highly recommend this liveaboard experience. Some of the best diving we have done!Recommended for: Dive sites, crew, visit to Komodo dragons.

Amazing Diving and Hospitality!!! This was our first live aboard experience and it exceeded all of our expectations! The food was amazing (courtesy of the onboard chef) and the crew were friendly and attentive. There is an epic chill area with bean bags and a lovely dining table both of which make for gorgeous views of the surrounding scenery. The smaller boat size meant that interactions with staff were intimate and dives were tailored to our needs and experience level. Staying on a live aboard gave us exclusive access to many remote dive sites, allowing for once in a lifetime experiences. All amenities worked well and were clean, and the cabin was surprisingly spacious. We would highly recommend Busy Girl to divers of all levels.Recommended for: Diving, food, crew.

Review: Busy Girl; Book: Busy Girl 8.9 Fabulous from £157; $198; €182

We had a wonderful week of diving, made new friends and gained 5 pounds. The food on the boat was amazing after almost 3 months in Indonesia the absolute best local food we have had. The open space on the boat was very comfortable with bean bags on the deck and plenty of space in the galley. It was easy to get to your dive gear as everything was spread out well. Our small group felt like family at the end of the trip… and experience we have never gotten on a larger liveaboard. The diving was plentiful and well organized.” Recommended for: The food. The diving. The smaller group.
