”This is a trip of a lifetime. Komodo Dragons, sharks, dolphins, mantas, colourful nudibranchs, cuttlefish, frogfish, what more does one need in life? Seeing all the strange and wonderful macro critters that look like they are from another dimension. Making new friends with people from around the world. Singing along after dinner with the Indonesian crew as they played their instruments under a black sky speckled with millions of stars shining like diamonds. Dancing the macarena, saturday night fever, and gangam style behind a lazy turtle that did not care for us whatsoever.” Recommended for: 1. Friendly and gracious Indonesian people. 2. Stunning above and underwater scenery. 3. The night dives were simple the best.

Article written by Russell Bowyer who has been a scuba diver since diving on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia in 1989. After his first dive he trained as a BSAC diver in the UK. He attained his Diver Leader certification with BSAC.
