When you first start out you may want to buy your own scuba gear. When you do you need to consider which make or brand of equipment to buy.
One thing I would recommend is to not scrimp on your regulator, as this is your life support system.
I’d certainly recommend going on a few dives with a dive company, use their equipment and especially their regulator to help you decide on which one to buy.
Most regulators have a similar feel when you breath from them, but some are nicer to breath from than others. The only way to find this out is to try it out underwater.
